And so, being curious, I decided to see what the big equipment was about and found that the Butterfly Pond was being transformed!
Spoke to Linda Cleft ( before the accident that hurt her foot recently) and she was optimistic about getting the footpath done, with bridge in place, and that is a fact!
First I came upon piles of gravel....and looked down the new footpath towards the Dog Park....WOW...an actual path!
Since there was lots of machinery, I went through to the other side and found work on the bridge and work on the path coming on quite steadily
Since then more has been done and the beauty of the place is being much enhanced! The bridge is almost finished, Paulie is doing a beautiful job. Lots more stability I really like the wider path, and that it has been built up and gravelled. Makes it nice...
This shot was after the BIG windstorm that took down a cottonwood and an alder. Wonder when it will be removed??? Lots of wood there!
That windstorm, however, got all my leaf raking done! it blew stuff where it was easy to pick up!!
Have a nice week!
